Presidential Palace of Tirana

The Presidential Palace of Tirana is the official residence and workplace of Albania's head of state, located on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard. The three-story building is surrounded by designed green spaces that form an important part of its setting in the city center.

The building was originally constructed to house the Soviet Embassy and served this purpose until diplomatic relations between Albania and the Soviet Union broke down in 1961. Following this rupture, the structure was repurposed to serve the Albanian state in a different capacity.
