The Presidential Palace of Tirana is the official residence and workplace of Albania's head of state, located on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard. The three-story building is surrounded by designed green spaces that form an important part of its setting in the city center.

The building was originally constructed to house the Soviet Embassy and served this purpose until diplomatic relations between Albania and the Soviet Union broke down in 1961. Following this rupture, the structure was repurposed to serve the Albanian state in a different capacity.

The building was first the Soviet embassy until Albania and the USSR broke off relations in 1961. In 1951 dynamite was found at the embassy in an attempted bombing, which triggered a violent government crackdown. Since the communist regime fell, it has housed the Office of the President without interruption.

The building is easily visible from the boulevard and located in the city center, making it straightforward to find and view from outside. Since it functions as an active government building, visitors should understand that public access is limited to viewing the exterior and surrounding grounds.
