Abbas Ali Türbe, Bektashi shrine on Mount Tomorr, Albania

The Abbas Ali Türbe is a twelve-sided circular structure topped with a green dome, containing a sarcophagus within its stone walls.

Built in 1620, this memorial structure stands as a testament to Islamic influence during the Ottoman period in Albania's mountainous regions.

The türbe serves as a central point for Bektashi followers who gather annually from August 20-25 for religious ceremonies and animal sacrifices.

Visitors can reach the shrine via a seven-kilometer road that winds up the western flank of Mount Tomorr from Kulmak Tekke.

According to local traditions, Abbas ibn Ali's soul resides on Mount Tomorr, with his presence marked by footprints found across several Albanian locations.
