Ventanilla

Ventanilla spans across 73.52 square kilometers, making it the largest district of Callao Province, with boundaries reaching from the Pacific Ocean to neighboring districts.

The district establishment occurred on January 28, 1969, as part of a governmental plan to reduce population concentration in central Lima and Callao regions.

The district contains eight urban zones and more than 160 neighborhoods, each contributing to the local customs and traditions of the Callao Province.

Located 34 kilometers northwest of Lima and 18 kilometers north of Callao, the district sits at an elevation of 71 meters above sea level.

The Costa Azul beach stretches for 7.8 kilometers along the Pacific coast, providing recreational space for residents and visitors throughout summer months.
