Museo Naval del Perú

The museum exhibits a collection of naval artifacts, including ship models, weapons, uniforms, and historical documents from Peru's maritime history.

Founded in 1958, the institution preserves significant items from the War of the Pacific, including the flag of the Huáscar ship and Admiral Grau's remains.

Each exhibition room presents different periods of Peru's maritime heritage, from Pre-Hispanic naval traditions to modern military developments.

Located near Plaza Grau, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM with separate admission fees for adults and children.

The Grau Crypt contains the right leg of Admiral Miguel Grau, guarded by naval cadets as a symbol of national maritime pride.
