Moyobamba Province

Moyobamba Province spans across 3,772 square kilometers of northern Peru, containing six districts with diverse geographical features including valleys and jungle areas.

The province territory gained significance during the Inca Empire under the name Muyupampa, later becoming one of the first regions to declare independence from Spain in 1821.
