Recoleta Mall, Shopping center in Recoleta, Argentina
Recoleta Mall is a shopping center with multiple floors, glass panels, and iron entrance structures located near the historic cemetery. The building houses roughly 75 retail stores alongside a modern cinema multiplex within its space.
The site originated as the Village Recoleta cinema in 1999 and underwent complete transformation into a modern shopping center. The current version opened in 2011 following extensive renovation of the original cinema building.
The mall occupies a neighborhood historically known as a gathering place for Buenos Aires' intellectuals and artists. Today, locals and visitors move through its spaces alongside nearby cultural institutions, making it part of the area's social fabric.
The center is easily accessible and offers parking for various vehicle types, including cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. Visitors can come during daytime and evening hours, as shops and cinema operate throughout the week.
The cinema within the mall preserves ten renovated screens from the original Village complex, now operated by Cinépolis. These preserved screens connect the location's past with contemporary film experiences.
