The Edificio Bank of America is a modern office building in downtown Buenos Aires featuring concrete walls, expansive windows, and clean geometric lines. The structure houses multiple floors dedicated to banking and administrative operations.
The Bank of America building was designed by the firms Mario Roberto Álvarez y Asociados and Aslan y Ezcurra. Construction began in 1963 and the building was inaugurated in 1965. It was built as an office block with a bank branch on its lower floors, and it now houses the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
The building embodies the arrival of international financial institutions in Argentina's business landscape, a shift that reshaped how the downtown district looked and functioned. Today, it stands as a visible reminder of that economic transformation in the city's core.

The entrance sits back from the street behind a small garden, creating a public passage on a street with very narrow sidewalks. The glass curtain wall uses bronze profiles, and two concrete columns stand on the Perón street side.
