Teatro de Verano Ramón Collazo

The Teatro de Verano Ramón Collazo is an open-air theatre in Parque Rodó with a ceramic-reinforced roof system and two seating areas divided into seven sectors for around 4,200 spectators. The structure sits along the banks of the Río de la Plata with views toward the water.

The theatre opened in 1944 as an important cultural venue and underwent comprehensive renovation work between 2006 and 2009. The modernization introduced an innovative roof system that improved acoustics and audience comfort.
