The Casa de Gobierno features a symmetrical facade with classical elements, decorative details, and two internal patios surrounded by organized pavilions.
Construction began in 1911 after demolishing the historic Cabildo, and the building officially opened in 1917 under Governor Rodolfo Lehmann's administration.
The building contains the Salón Blanco on the upper level, where provincial ceremonies and governmental functions take place throughout the year.
Located at 3 de febrero 2649 opposite Plaza 25 de Mayo, the Casa de Gobierno houses the executive offices of Santa Fe Province.
The structure received its common name, Casa Gris, due to its gray exterior color, similar to the Government House of Entre Ríos province.
