Curitiba Trade Center, Commercial skyscraper in downtown Curitiba, Brazil
Curitiba Trade Center is a commercial skyscraper in downtown Curitiba with 34 floors and 2 underground levels, rising approximately 111 meters tall. The complex combines office spaces with residential lofts and provides around 19,000 square meters of usable area for business and private purposes.
The building was completed in 1995 based on designs by architect Eli Loyola and constructed by Irmãos Thá S.A. Its construction marked the modernization of the downtown area during that period.
The building stands out in the urban landscape with its prominent clocks, two of them displaying a 5-meter diameter, crafted by a local clockmaker. These timepieces have become recognizable symbols for people navigating the city center.
The building sits in a central location that is easily accessible on foot and offers good views of the downtown area. Visitors can view the external structure and distinctive clocks from street level.
The building was deliberately positioned at the city center border to prevent taller structures from blocking its sightline. This strategic placement makes it a standout point in the skyline.
