Construction of the tower began in 1989 and was completed in 1991, representing a major step forward in telecommunications infrastructure for Paraná state. This development helped modernize communications across the region.
The observation deck features an artistic panel by Poty Lazzarotto that shows scenes from local history and telephone technology. This artwork also honors the city's founding with a creative commemoration.
