Torre da Telepar, Telecommunications tower in Mercês district, Curitiba, Brazil
The Torre da Telepar stands 109.5 meters tall and functions as both a telecommunications infrastructure and an observation deck at 1050 meters above sea level.
The tower construction began in 1989 and reached completion in 1991, marking a significant advancement in the telecommunications infrastructure of Paraná state.
The observation deck features an artistic panel by Poty Lazzarotto depicting local history and telephony elements, commemorating Curitiba's 300th anniversary.
Visitors can access the observation deck from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 19:00, with tickets costing 3.50 Brazilian reais per person.
The structure utilizes directional markers on each side of its dome, enabling visitors to identify specific neighborhoods and landmarks across a 360-degree view.
