Torre da Telepar

Torre da Telepar is a 109.5 meter (360 foot) tall structure in Curitiba that serves as both a telecommunications tower and a public observation deck. The platform sits at 1050 meters (3445 feet) above sea level and offers wide views across the city.

Construction of the tower began in 1989 and was completed in 1991, representing a major step forward in telecommunications infrastructure for Paraná state. This development helped modernize communications across the region.

The observation deck features an artistic panel by Poty Lazzarotto that shows scenes from local history and telephone technology. This artwork also honors the city's founding with a creative commemoration.

The platform is open from Tuesday through Sunday and provides clear sightlines across the city and surrounding areas. A clear day is ideal for getting the best views of the landscape.

The structure features directional markers on each side of its dome, which help visitors identify specific neighborhoods and landmarks as they look around at the 360-degree view. These practical guides turn the panorama into an informative navigation tool.
