Parque Estadual Mata dos Godoy

The Mata dos Godoy State Park spans 690 hectares of subtropical forest, featuring three distinct hiking trails through dense vegetation at 594 meters elevation.

The land belonged to the Godoy family until 1989, when it became a state park to protect one of the last remaining subtropical forest areas in Paraná.

The park serves as an environmental education center where visitors learn about natural heritage through informative videos and guided trail experiences.

Visitors must register upon entry and should wear appropriate clothing, bring insect repellent, and carry snacks while exploring the marked paths.

The reserve houses 282 bird species and 65 mammal species, including rare specimens like white-beaked toucans, jaguars, and tapirs in their natural habitat.
