Santa Cruz dos Navegantes Beach

Santa Cruz dos Navegantes is a beach on the southwest side of Santo Amaro Island with light sand and warm waters that stretch for about 650 meters. The shore can be reached by road through Guarujá or by boat departing from Santos Port.

A 16th century fortress called Fortaleza da Barra Grande sits near this shore, having been built to defend Santos Bay during early colonial times. This historic presence connects the location to the maritime defense strategies of the past.
