Montezum, Wooden roller coaster at Hopi Hari theme park, Brazil

Montezum is a wooden roller coaster in the Mistieri area of Hopi Hari theme park, in São Paulo state. Its track is 1,030.2 metres long, with a height of 42.4 metres, a drop of 44.5 metres and a top speed of 103 km/h. The circuit takes 58 seconds from the top of the lift hill. Two trains built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters each carry 24 riders in four cars, arranged two across in three rows.

Built by the Roller Coaster Corporation of America over 18 months, with more than 1,500 workers on the job, Montezum was finished about six months before Hopi Hari opened in November 1999. Its trains came from Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters. Until 2011, during the Hora do Horror event, one train ran the course backwards as Direversi. At the end of 2025 the park announced the ride would become a hybrid coaster, keeping its wooden structure but adding steel track.

Montezum sits in Mistieri, a Hopi Hari area themed on pre-Columbian Inca, Aztec and Maya peoples; the coaster is named after the Aztec ruler Moctezuma II, known as Montezuma. Until 2011, during the Hora do Horror event, one train ran the circuit backwards under the name Direversi.

Montezum runs two trains of four cars, each car seating six riders in three rows of two, for 24 people per train and about 900 riders per hour with both trains running. The circuit lasts 58 seconds from the top of the lift hill. The ride stands in the Mistieri area of Hopi Hari, in São Paulo state.

Until 2011, during the park's Hora do Horror event, one of Montezum's trains ran the circuit backwards, a format called Direversi. The ride's two trains were built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, each with four cars seating six riders in three rows of two.
