The Museum of Sexual Diversity occupies 500 square meters within República Metro Station, displaying photographs, artworks, and historical objects about LGBT experiences.
Founded in 2012, this institution became Latin America's first museum dedicated to preserving and documenting the LGBT community's social and political heritage.
The museum presents rotating exhibitions covering topics from Brazilian music representation to carnival celebrations through an LGBT perspective.
Located near República Metro Station on the Red Line 3, the museum maintains free admission and digital access to several virtual exhibitions.
During the 2020 pandemic, the museum reached 2.3 million online visitors, becoming São Paulo's second most virtually visited cultural institution.
