Edifício Itália, Modern skyscraper in Central Zone, São Paulo, Brazil.

Edifício Itália is a modern skyscraper with 46 floors and a height of 165 meters in downtown São Paulo. The tower contains offices, a well-known restaurant, and a public observation deck.

The building was completed in 1965 by architect Adolf Franz Heep and marked a turning point in São Paulo's development as a vertical city. It quickly became a landmark of modern Brazilian architecture of that era.

The building takes its name from São Paulo's Italian community and houses a restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes that remain popular today. This connection to Italian heritage is visible in how the place is used by visitors and locals alike.

The observation deck is open in the afternoons on weekdays and offers views across the entire city. Visitors should wear appropriate clothing as it can be windy at height and visibility varies with weather.

The restaurant on the 41st floor received a visit from Queen Elizabeth II in 1968, an event that remains part of the site's story today. Such moments show how the building has played a role in significant occasions over the decades.
