Igreja Apostólica Armênia São Jorge is the seat of the Armenian Diocese of Brazil of the Armenian Apostolic Church, under the Mother See of Etchmiadzin. The present church, consecrated in 1949, replaced the first São Jorge church of 1937, which the city demolished in 1943 to widen a street. It stands in a different São Paulo neighbourhood from the original site.

The first Armenian church of São Jorge was built on 21 March 1937, reaching 35 m in height, and was consecrated by Father Gabriel Samuelian on 10 April 1938. In 1943 the city authorities demolished it to widen the street. At the decision of the Armenian philanthropist George Tahanian, a new church was built in another neighbourhood; its foundation stone was laid on 25 March 1945, it opened on 3 April 1949 and was consecrated on 24 April by Archbishop Garegin Khachaturian.

The church serves as a central gathering place for the Armenian Christian community in Brazil, where services are conducted in Armenian language. Visitors can observe how liturgical traditions are maintained and passed down through the congregation.

The church stands in the Bom Retiro district of São Paulo, in the Armenian community's area. The building dates from 1949, when it was inaugurated on 3 April.
