The Athletes' Forest within the park contains 100 native Brazilian trees, including jequitibá, ipê, grumixama, and pau-brasil species.
The park operates from Friday to Sunday between 9 AM and 5 PM, providing free access to water attractions for residents of nearby neighborhoods.
The park maintains professional-grade Olympic sports facilities while serving as the second largest recreational space in Rio de Janeiro after Parque do Flamengo.
