Estádio Juca Ribeiro, Sports stadium in Uberlândia, Brazil.
Estádio Juca Ribeiro was a football stadium in Uberlândia with seating capacity for about 20,000 spectators and a grass playing surface. The rectangular facility served as the primary home ground for the local sports club before being replaced in 1982.
The stadium opened in 1933 and operated as the main football venue for nearly five decades in the region. When Estádio Parque do Sabiá opened in 1982, the local club relocated its home matches to the newer facility.
The stadium represented a central meeting point for football enthusiasts in Uberlândia, where local sports commentators narrated countless matches over several decades.
The stadium remained open until 2010, when demolition began to make room for urban development projects. Today the facility no longer exists, so a visit to the site is not possible.
Sports journalist Luiz Antônio Figueira documented numerous events within the stadium walls, preserving details of matches through written records and photographs.
