Cristianópolis is a municipality in southeastern Goiás that spreads across rolling countryside where farmland and pastures dominate the landscape. The settlement sits at an elevation of about 800 meters in a region shaped by cattle raising and crop farming.
The settlement started in 1905 when Ricardo José do Vale brought Protestant faith to the area and originally named it Gameleira. In 1927, the place took the name Cristianópolis, marking the community's transformation.
The municipality maintains four educational institutions with 27 classrooms where 51 teachers provide education to 1,083 students across different academic levels.
Visitors will find a rural area with basic services since this is a small municipality far from major cities. It works best to visit during the dry season when roads are in better condition and farm activities are most visible.
