Pontalina

Pontalina stretches across 1,428 square kilometers of land at 610 meters elevation, bordered by nine different municipalities in the state of Goiás.

The settlement emerged in the 19th century when cattle ranchers established farms in the region, officially becoming a municipality in 1938 after separating from Morrinhos.

The municipality has transformed into a major lingerie production center, with local manufacturers creating products that reach markets across Brazil and international destinations.

The town contains 15 educational institutions serving over 4,000 students, plus two hospitals and nine medical clinics providing 52 hospital beds for residents.

Located at the confluence of Rio dos Bois and Meia Ponte rivers, Pontalina maintains an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
