Parque Jardim dos Namorados

Parque Jardim dos Namorados is a public green space along the coast in Pituba, featuring walking paths, cycling tracks, and sports facilities. The grounds include exercise equipment and recreational areas designed for different types of physical activity.

The grounds were established in the late 1960s and underwent complete renovation in the late 1990s. This overhaul introduced new architectural features and installed contemporary artworks throughout the space.

Local Bahian artists have created sculptures and murals throughout the grounds that visitors encounter while walking. These artworks reflect the creative traditions of the region and give the space a distinct cultural identity.

The space offers parking and a bicycle rental station for visitors. The different areas are easily accessible and the facilities accommodate various fitness levels.

The Vila Jardim dos Namorados section houses several small restaurants in compact spaces serving Mediterranean, Japanese, and traditional Bahian fare. This dining arrangement makes the grounds an unexpected place to sample different cuisines.
