Maletsunyane Falls, Single waterfall in Semonkong, Lesotho.

Maletsunyane Falls drops 192 meters from a Triassic-Jurassic basalt ledge, forming a single white column of water against dark rock walls.

The falls received global recognition in 2017 when the How Ridiculous team set a world record for the highest basketball shot from its summit.

The thundering sound of water hitting the basin inspired local Basotho folklore about voices of those who perished in the waters.

Semonkong Lodge organizes guided tours and facilitates a 204-meter commercial abseil descent, which held a Guinness World Record.

The waterfall creates a constant water vapor cloud that rises from the impact zone, making it visible from several kilometers away.
