Katlehong, Township in City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa
Katlehong is a township in the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality located southeast of Johannesburg. It sits between Thokoza and Vosloorus townships, adjacent to the N3 highway.
The township originated in 1945 on the former site of Palmietfontein Airport while Jan Smuts International Airport was being constructed. Its establishment reflects how the city expanded during that period.

The location is most accessible by car, as proximity to the N3 highway provides good entry routes. Visitors should be aware that Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa, and Tsonga are the primary languages spoken in the community.
It forms part of Kathorus, the second largest Black settlement in South Africa after Soweto. This region has developed into a densely populated area that holds significant importance in the country's history.
