Sada, Coastal commune in western Mayotte, France
The commune of Sada stretches over 10.9 square kilometers along the western coast of Mayotte, encompassing the villages of Sada and Mangajou.
The first Arab settlers from Hadramaut, known as Ba'Alawi, established their presence in Sada, and their descendants remain in the area to this day.
Two Friday mosques stand 100 meters apart in Sada, representing the traditional division between the main districts of Gnambolole and Gnambotiti.
The town hall of Sada operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
The Gnambotiti mosque, built in the 1990s, stands as the largest mosque in Mayotte and serves as a center for religious gatherings.
