Nullarbor National Park

Nullarbor National Park covers flat limestone terrain with numerous caves and underground chambers beneath its surface. These subterranean features shape the landscape and reveal the geological complexity of the region.

The park was established in 1979 and underwent a major size reduction in 2013. This change reflected shifting conservation priorities and management strategies for the region.

The Mirning people, who are traditional custodians of this land, remain deeply connected to the landscape and actively participate in the park's management decisions.

The terrain is relatively flat and accessible by foot or vehicle along marked routes. Visitors should bring ample water and prepare for limited shade, as vegetation is sparse across the landscape.

Murrawijinie Caves is the sole cave system open to public exploration within the park. This subterranean experience reveals hidden geological wonders beneath the otherwise flat surface.
