Canunda National Park

Canunda National Park extends along 40 kilometers of coastline, featuring limestone cliffs, sea stacks, offshore reefs, and mobile sand dunes with beaches.

The land holds continuous significance for Aboriginal peoples, particularly the Boandik People who established camps throughout the coastal region over many generations.

Evidence of Indigenous settlements remains visible across the park's landscape, demonstrating the enduring connection between Aboriginal communities and this coastal environment.

The park contains six designated camping areas near beaches and rock pools, with overnight stays requiring advance reservations and fees starting at 18.50 dollars.

Four-wheel drive vehicles can navigate through marked posts across dunes and along Geltwood Beach, while anglers catch mullet and salmon in coastal waters.
