Elite Systems Football Centre, Football venue in Angle Park, Adelaide, Australia
Elite Systems Football Centre is a football venue in Angle Park with a modern synthetic pitch and complete floodlighting system for evening matches. The facility includes four changing rooms, a function space for up to 80 people, and covered seating for around 200 spectators.
The venue opened in 2014 and represented an important advance for football infrastructure in South Australia. It was the second full-size synthetic pitch facility in the region at that time and helped support the sport's growth.
This facility serves as a central hub for women's football in South Australia, hosting regular matches of the A-League Women where both emerging and established players compete. Visitors witness the development of professional women's football in the region by attending these games.
The ground has good accessibility and clear signage to help visitors find their way around easily. Note that covered seating can fill up quickly on popular match days, so arriving early is advisable.
In January 2017, the venue hosted an extraordinary match where Adelaide United defeated Western Sydney Wanderers 10-2, a scoreline that remains a notable record for the ground. Such lopsided results are rare in professional football and make this particular game memorable.
