The building, completed in March 1991, temporarily held the title of tallest structure in Melbourne until 120 Collins Street surpassed it five months later.

The structure represents a milestone in Australian architecture, featuring design work from Denton Corker Marshall and a grand foyer by John Burgee.

The building contains 83,000 square meters of office space, 414 underground parking spaces, and 30 high-speed elevators that travel at 7 meters per second.

The owners maintain building views by purchasing adjacent properties, leading to the development of new restaurants along Flinders Lane.
