The Murray Art Museum Albury spans over 2000 square meters across two levels, featuring seven gallery spaces and a ground floor atrium for exhibitions.
Following a 10.5 million dollar renovation in 2015, the former Albury Regional Art Gallery transformed into the Murray Art Museum Albury with expanded facilities.
The museum manages over 3000 artworks from the Albury City Council collection, including works by Russell Drysdale, Margaret Olley, and Lorraine Connelly-Northey.
The museum operates seven days per week throughout the year, offering free admission and housing the Canvas Eatery restaurant with views of QEII Square.
The National Photography Prize, established in 1983, contributes to the museum's photography collection through annual acquisitions of contemporary Australian works.
