Graham Lodge, Colonial homestead in Nowra, Australia
Graham Lodge consists of a two-storey building with slate roofing, detailed cedar joinery, and multiple verandas overlooking the Shoalhaven region.
William Graham established the estate in 1826, and his son James initiated the construction of the current Victorian Georgian building between 1860 and 1861.
The land surrounding Graham Lodge carries over 21,000 years of Aboriginal history, with connections to the Tharawal language speaking communities.
The Shoalhaven City Council maintains the property and provides public access to explore the architectural features and historical elements of the building.
The building transformed from a family homestead to a function center named Prague Lodge before becoming the Nowra Bomaderry Leagues Club.
