Green Square Library, Public library in Zetland district, Sydney, Australia

The Green Square Library spans multiple levels, featuring a sunken garden, light wells, and an outdoor plaza connected by an amphitheater.

The site transformed from wetlands supporting Gadigal people to industrial zones before becoming a library development in Sydney's urban renewal project.

The library collection includes 40,000 books, digital resources, and musical instruments available for community members to borrow.

The facility operates from Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 6 PM, with weekend hours from 10 AM to 4 PM, excluding public holidays.

Light wells pierce through the underground sections of the library, bringing natural illumination while maintaining structural integrity of the building.
