Redfern Aboriginal Children's Services

Redfern Aboriginal Children's Services is a care center housed in a Victorian red-brick building on George Street. It provides early childhood education, family support, and specialized assistance tailored for Aboriginal children and their families in Sydney.

The center was founded in 1975 in response to inadequate support for Aboriginal children within the non-Indigenous care system of that era. Its creation coincided with growing momentum in Aboriginal rights activism.
