The Members' Stand and Lady Members' Stand feature ornate cast iron balustrades, timber structures, and green painted corrugated iron roofs at Driver Avenue.
The original Members' Stand was constructed in 1878 at a cost of £6,625, while the Lady Members' Stand foundation stone was laid in 1896.
The stands represent the traditional separation of gender spaces in Victorian sporting venues, with dedicated areas for male and female spectators.
Access to both heritage-listed stands is through Gate A on Driver Avenue, with the structures maintained in good condition by Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust.
These grandstands are considered the finest examples of Victorian sporting architecture in New South Wales, featuring a distinctive clock tower.
