Everglades Gardens

The Everglades Gardens extend across 5.2 hectares of land, featuring stone walls, terraced landscapes, flower beds, and a Mediterranean-style house with three floors.

Henri Van de Velde purchased the estate in 1933 and collaborated with Danish landscape gardener Paul Sorensen to create gardens that combined native and exotic flora.

The gardens incorporate both Australian and European design elements, with stone pathways winding through rhododendron banks and native plant collections.

Visitors can access the gardens Wednesday through Monday from 10 AM to 4 PM, with admission fees of $17 for adults and $49 for family groups.

The garden's terraces follow the natural slope of the mountain, creating distinct spaces that showcase different botanical collections against Blue Mountains vistas.
