Bradleys Head Light, Navigation lighthouse in Sydney Harbour, Australia
The cylindrical concrete lighthouse stands 6.1 meters tall on Bradleys Head, featuring a distinctive green light with a three-second occulting cycle.
The current structure, built in 1905, replaced an earlier navigation light from 1847 and continues to guide vessels through Sydney Harbour's waters.
The lighthouse grounds connect to the HMAS Sydney memorial, where the preserved foremast honors Australian sailors who perished during maritime conflicts.
The lighthouse area includes walking paths, picnic facilities, and parking spaces at the end of Bradleys Head Road within Sydney Harbour National Park.
A sandstone Doric column near the lighthouse, taken from the former Sydney Post Office, served for measuring vessel speeds in the harbour.
