Lindesay, Darling Point

Lindesay is a rectangular mansion in Darling Point with restored Georgian interiors and original furnishings throughout its rooms. The property features statue-filled gardens and direct views over Sydney Harbour from its position on the headland.

The house was built in 1834 as the first residence in Darling Point when the area was still undeveloped. It later became the home of Colonial Treasurer Campbell Drummond Riddell and several other prominent figures in Australian life.
