Clovelly Beach extends between two rocky ridges at the end of a narrow bay, featuring concrete platforms and promenades on both sides.
The beach area, formerly known as Little Coogee, received its current name in 1913, inspired by a village on the north Devon coast of England.
The Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club, established in 1906, stands as one of the earliest surf rescue organizations in the world.
The beach includes a 25-meter saltwater pool, changing facilities, the Sea Salt Cafe, and lifeguard services from early morning until evening.
The protected waters of Clovelly Beach house a resident Blue Groper fish that local swimmers regularly encounter during their morning activities.
