Parramatta Stadium

Parramatta Stadium is a sports arena in Parramatta with a seating capacity of approximately 30,000 across two main grandstands and additional sections at each end of the field. The facility is designed to accommodate rugby league, soccer, and international sporting competitions.

The stadium was built on the site of Cumberland Oval after supporters destroyed its grandstand in 1981 while celebrating the Parramatta Eels' first premiership title. This prompted the construction of a new modern sporting venue for the region.

The stadium sits on the traditional lands of the Burramattagal people and serves as the home ground for the Parramatta Eels rugby league team. It functions as a gathering place where the local community comes together for sporting events.
