Richmond Vale Railway Museum, Railway museum in Kurri Kurri area, Australia.
The Richmond Vale Railway Museum extends across 40 acres of land, featuring a collection of steam locomotives, mining equipment, and historical railway exhibits.
Established in 1979, the museum preserves the Richmond Vale railway line and mining heritage at the former Richmond Main Colliery site in New South Wales.
The museum maintains numerous industrial locomotives from the New South Wales Government Railways, including a 1908 Kitson & Company 2-8-2T from Pelaw Main.
The facility opens during the first three Sundays of each month and every Sunday in school holidays, with train operations starting at 10:00 AM.
Following a 2017 fire that damaged tracks and wagons, volunteers restored sections of the railway line to resume shuttle train services by March 2018.
