Langer House is a two-story residential building in St Lucia, Queensland, constructed with brick and timber that applies modern design principles. The building was later expanded with a third level while its original exterior appearance was kept intact.

The house was designed in 1950 by architect Karl Langer during a time when Australia faced shortages of building materials following World War II. It demonstrates creative solutions that were developed within these construction constraints.

The Langers furnished the house with timber furniture Karl designed in the 1930s, brought from Vienna. Gertrude Langer was art critic for The Courier Mail from 1953 until her death in 1984, and her last review appeared the day she died. The couple helped shape Queensland's arts scene through the Queensland Art Gallery Society and the Australian Council for the Arts.

The site is located on Swann Road and is visible from the street. Keep in mind this is a private residence and access may be limited, so check visiting conditions beforehand.
