Hazard's Pavilion, Multi-purpose concert hall and theatre in downtown Los Angeles, US.
The wooden structure at Fifth and Olive Streets featured two towers, a clapboard exterior, and could accommodate up to 4,000 spectators through its galleries.
Architects Kysor, Morgan & Walls constructed the pavilion in 1887 for Henry T. Hazard, who served as City Attorney and later became Mayor of Los Angeles.
The venue hosted performances by the Metropolitan Opera, featuring 300 artists, and presentations by notable figures including William Jennings Bryan and Booker T. Washington.
The building served multiple functions, from religious gatherings and political meetings to boxing matches and theatrical productions between 1887 and 1905.
Italian tenor Enrico Caruso performed at the pavilion, which later transformed into Temple Auditorium and became the residence of Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
