U.S. Bank Tower is a skyscraper in Downtown Los Angeles, United States, rising 310.3 meters with 73 floors on Grand Avenue. Its postmodern glass facade shifts in color throughout the day, while at night an illuminated crown marks the top.
Construction began in 1987 and finished two years later as part of a financing program for the Central Library renovation. The building remained the tallest west of the Mississippi River for nearly three decades.

A rooftop helipad serves emergency operations and sits higher than any other helicopter landing site in the city. The structure was designed with a special steel core to withstand earthquakes and swayed during the 1994 Northridge event without structural damage.
