The Electra is a residential tower in downtown San Diego that contains 248 units ranging from one-bedroom apartments to multi-room penthouses. The building offers a range of living spaces that suit different household sizes and preferences.
Construction of the Electra began in 2004 and was completed in 2008 on a site that formerly housed a gas and electric utility building. The project marked a significant transformation of the location into a modern residential tower.
The postmodern architectural design by Chris Dikeakos Architects demonstrates the evolution of urban residential spaces in downtown San Diego.
