Whitley Court, Queen Anne style house in Hollywood, Los Angeles, United States.
A collection of five Spanish Colonial bungalows sits together on Whitley Avenue, featuring round bay turrets and Colonial Revival architectural elements.
The initial structure, constructed in 1903 by Dennis & Farwell for the Whitley family, was relocated to accommodate four additional residential buildings.
The buildings served as residences for film industry professionals, including actresses Theda Bara in the 1920s and Sylvia Sidney in the 1930s.
The property at 1720-1728½ Whitley Avenue combines residential units and office spaces following a 1974 conversion of the original structures.
During the 1992 Los Angeles riots, residents protected the buildings with water hoses when fires approached within 150 feet of the property.
