The Prospect Studios is a production facility in Los Feliz that spans multiple acres and houses several stages for television work. The complex includes specialized spaces like green screens, rehearsal areas, and soundproof studios designed for the demands of production.

Vitagraph opened its West Coast studio at 4151 Prospect Avenue in 1913, after fog at its Santa Monica site made filming difficult; the silent plant had two daylight stages, support buildings and exterior sets, and the company added 10 acres in 1920. Albert Smith sold control to Warner Brothers in April 1925, and as the Warner East Hollywood Annex the lot hosted portions of The Jazz Singer in 1927, with the club interiors shot in Stage 5. ABC bought the property in 1948 and rebuilt the lot in 1957.

Talmadge Street, bordering the lot, is named after silent film star Norma Talmadge. The studio's own name changed with its owners: Vitagraph Studio, Warner East Hollywood Annex, ABC Television Center, and since 2002 The Prospect Studios. Visitors can spot the green metal archway over the Prospect Avenue driveway, lettered "THE PROSPECT STUDIOS".

The studio sits at the corner of Prospect Avenue and Talmadge Street and is reasonably accessible within Los Angeles. Keep in mind this is an active production facility, so access and viewing may be restricted during ongoing work.

Stage 5, still standing at the centre of the lot, is where the club interiors of The Jazz Singer were filmed in 1927, the first feature with synchronised sound. The green arch over the Prospect Avenue driveway carries the name "The Prospect Studios" in raised letters.
