Mount Ecclesia

Mount Ecclesia is the headquarters of the Rosicrucian Fellowship and sits on a high mesa with views of the San Luis Rey River Valley and the Franciscan mission San Luis Rey de Francia. The site contains a temple, residential buildings, and other facilities that serve the organization's operations.

The site was founded in 1911 when Max Heindel planted a ceremonial cross marked with the initials C.R.C., representing Christian Rose Cross. This founding act set the spiritual foundation for all future activities on the mountain.

The Ecclesia temple shows Greek and Roman building styles, with a triangular roof supported by round columns on its eastern side. The architecture reflects the spiritual beliefs that guide the community here.

The site can be explored on foot, and the elevated location offers broad views of the surrounding area. Visitors should keep in mind that this is an active religious community, so certain areas may not be open to the public.

The site offers free spiritual healing services, guided by the founding principle that teachings should never cost money. This commitment to free services sets it apart from many other spiritual centers.
