The Pony Express roller coaster features motorbike-style seats arranged along a 1,300-foot track, reaching heights of 44 feet during the ride experience.
Opened in 2008, this steel coaster became the first motocoaster constructed by Zamperla in the United States, marking a new era for Knott's Berry Farm attractions.
The roller coaster takes inspiration from the original mail delivery service that connected Missouri to California through horseback riders in the 1860s.
Riders must measure at least 48 inches tall to experience the 36-second journey, which includes a rapid acceleration from zero to 38 miles per hour.
The attraction utilizes a flywheel launch system combined with specialized horse-shaped seats, allowing guests to experience simulated horseback riding at high speeds.
