Cancha de Entrenamiento Luis Tapia, Soccer stadium in Panama City, Panama
Cancha de Entrenamiento Luis Tapia is a soccer stadium located within the Irving Saladino Sports Complex in Panama City. The field features artificial turf and has seating capacity for approximately 900 spectators.
The stadium opened on January 22, 2009, during President Martín Torrijos's administration, with an inaugural match between youth teams from Siglo XXI and Chorrillo FC. A roof was added over the main section in 2012 to improve conditions for spectators and players.
The stadium bears the name of Luis Ernesto 'Cascarita' Tapia, a soccer player who achieved recognition across Central America during his playing years. Today it serves as a gathering place where locals come to watch matches and support young athletes developing their skills in the sport.
The stadium serves as a training facility for Tauro FC and regularly hosts league matches. The artificial turf field and covered seating make it usable throughout the year regardless of weather conditions.
The facility received a roof extension over its main section in 2012 as part of a renovation project supported by local authorities. This addition transformed the spectator experience by providing protection from Panama City's frequent tropical weather.
