The Estadio Romelio Martínez is a football stadium in Barranquilla occupying the block between 72nd and 74th streets and 44th and 46th avenues. Its low concrete structure sits beneath an elevated roadway; the upper facade carries a long horizontal mural of standing figures, and below it a narrow brown-edged canopy shelters five bays, the central one open, with a red bench in front. The north stand is Art Deco.

The stadium was built in 1932 and opened in 1934, initially serving as the city's primary football venue. It hosted the National Games in 1935 and remained central to the city's sports life until 1986.

The stadium carries the name of a prominent athlete from Barranquilla who was active during the 1930s and 1940s. This reflects how the city honors sports figures within its public spaces.

The 2016–2018 rebuild reversed the pitch from east-west to north-south at the request of FIFA and ODECABE, and laid Bermuda 419 grass.
